CONNECTICUT VITAL RECORDS SYSTEM

The purpose of the Connecticut Vital Records System (ConnVRS) is for the creation, registration, and issuance of the Certificate of Live Birth for children born within this state. The system supports the accuracy and completion of birth certificate data. The system may be used only for the purpose for which it is provided.

Only users authorized by the Connecticut Department of Public Health may have access to this system. Any attempts to file fraudulent certificates is punishable in accordance with Connecticut statutes.

By accessing this system, I agree to use this system only for the purpose for which it is intended. I understand that all information is confidential and revealing this information to unauthorized persons would be inappropriate and/or illegal. Any unauthorized access, misuse and/or disclosure of information may result in disciplinary action including loss of access, civil or criminal charges.
